At The Loving Vet, I understand that saying goodbye to a beloved dog or cat is one of the most difficult decisions a pet owner can face. My aim is to make this emotional experience as peaceful, gentle and dignified as possible.
Choosing home euthanasia allows your pet to remain in familiar surroundings, without the stress of travelling to a veterinary practice. Whether your pet feels most comfortable resting on their favourite bed, curled up on the sofa or surrounded by their family, I want their final moments to be filled with love and reassurance.
I take a calm, unhurried approach to every appointment, allowing you time to say goodbye in your own way. Your pet will receive sedation to help them become relaxed and comfortable before the final injection is administered.
I also understand that deciding when the time is right can be incredibly difficult. If you’re unsure whether euthanasia is the kindest option for your pet, I’m happy to discuss your concerns and help you consider their quality of life.
Afterwards, you can choose to keep your pet at home for burial where permitted, or I can help arrange individual or communal cremation, depending on your wishes.
My priority is always to treat your beloved companion with kindness, compassion and dignity, while supporting you and your family throughout the experience.

Our compassionate home euthanasia service allows dogs and cats to pass away peacefully in the comfort of their own home, without the stress of travelling to a veterinary practice.
We offer daytime, evening and weekend appointments, with no additional charge for evening or weekend visits. Bank holiday appointments may also be available.
We can usually arrange appointments within 2–3 days, and occasionally have same-day availability. We also offer pet cremation services and can help you make arrangements for your pet afterwards.
